Mets Win Daley Division!
With some help from the Browns Tuesday night, the Mets finished 1st in the Daley Division with a 16-11 record. The Browns win resulted in a 3 way tie for 1st place between the Mets, Browns and Vikings. No team held the head-to-head tie-breaker over the other 2. The next tie-breaker is Division Points. The Mets held a slight edge at 20-18 pushing them into the top spot. This results in a bye for the first round of the playoffs.

This marks the Mets best finish in their 4 year history (Chicago Braves from 2004-2006). The team finished 3rd and narrowly missed the playoffs in 2004; their first season. In both 2005 and 2006 the team finished 2nd, and lost in the 1st round of the Playoffs.

Playoffs begin Saturday with the Browns facing the Yankees and the Vikings taking on the Rangers. The Mets will be back in action in the second round, beginning on 8/11.
