Braves Sweep Aviators.

The Braves were playing two today against a tough Aviator team.Jeff P took to the mound game one.The Braves quickly jumped ahead in the bottom of the 1st 1-0 on Sean "MVP" Carney stealing home plate.Braves would quickly add 2 more in the 2nd to take a 3-0 lead.To the 3rd where the Aviators mounted a comeback,with one out in the inning, back to back errors and a 3 hits allowed the Aviators to tie the game at 3.The Braves though would quickly add one more in their bottom half, leadoff double by Roy and base hit by Dan H.Jeff would hold the Aviators down til the 6th, allowing the Braves to score one more run in the 5th inning on an error.To the 7th where the Braves lead was 6-3.The Aviators mounted a comeback in the 7th, scoring 4 runs on 6 hits and a walk.Roy Smetana would come in and shut the Aviators down. To the bottom of the 7th where the Braves came back to tie it at 7.Dan H leadoff with being hpb, then a sb.With a ground out to 2nd, Dan would advance to 3rd with two outs.Jon S was the Braves last chance, soz hit a infield chopper in which he legged out and the infielder bobbled allowing Dan to score and tie the game.To the 8th where bad defense allowed the Aviators to come back and take a 8-7 lead.Sean D would lead off this time with a hpb.Then back to back hits by joe and marty.A strange double play and fly out would end the Braves comeback.Roy would shut the Aviators down in the 9th and allow the Braves to win the game.Leadoff walk to Sean C and and hit by couch, Joe H would come to the plate with no outs and knock in the winning run! Strong pitching by Roy kept the Braves in the game & Joe H hit were the keys in this game. GAME 2- 16-1 Estuardo Mira took to the mound only allowing 1 run on 2 hits- 3 K's and a hit batter.Estuardo was in charge the whole game. Everyone contributed in this win.The Braves only had 9 at this game.! This win pushed the Braves win streak to 5 games! Next the Red Sox.
