Braves snap 5 game skid...

The Braves were looking to snap their 5 game skid today vs the Electrons, a team which beat the Braves earlier in the season. Brandon Baiocchi looked to take the mound and stop the bleeding.In the bottom half of the 1st inning the Braves took the lead 2-0.Walk to sean c, followed by Sb, Jim sostak would follow with a base hit to left, Joe haufle would then walk to load the bases.With back to back K's, the Braves looked to strand the bases loaded, a 2 out hit by Dave H would knock in 2 runs.But the Electrons would answer in the 2nd with 3 runs of their own to take a 3-2 lead.But Braves were not done, they would add 2 more runs in the bottom of the 3rd to take the lead. Brandon would hold the Electrons for another inning, until the bottom of the 4th,the Braves scored 6 runs to make it a 10-3 game. The 5th is where the Electrons would try to stage a comeback.They added 4 runs on 3 walks and a hit to make it a 10-7 game.Joe H would come in for a 1/3 of an inning to get the final out.The Braves would then add 2 more in the bottom of the 6th to give themselves a little cushion.Making it a 12-7 game.Jeff P would come in the 6th and 7th innings allowing a run on 3 hits. The Braves needed this game and most certainly showed determination in the win!
