The Braves just coming off a win over the Electrons looked to start a new win streak vs Yankees.Odd move by the Braves starting OF Jimmy Sostak in this one!The Braves took an early lead in the 2nd scoring a run on Dan Hollemans sac fly.The Braves would add 5 more runs in the 3rd, on hits by Sean C, Joe H, Angie Deblasi's 2-run triple!With Jim tossing a shut out for 4 innings the Braves qould quickly add 2 more in the 4th.To the 5th inning, where the Yankees would score 3 runs on 2 walks and a hit, with the temps in the mid 90's jim was tiring.Although Jim would battle back and get the 3rd out of the inning. Thats all Jim and the Braves would allow, 3 runs! Jim went above and beyond in this one! Estuardo Mira came in the 6th and 7th to shut the Yankees down. Braves win 2 in a row!
