Braves Hook Haufle in busy offseason
Braves Hook Haufle

The Braves made a splash this offseason, landing former Marlin Joe Haufle.
Haufle will solidify the infield and add a lot of pop to the Brave lineup.

The Braves made their first post season appearance in 2005 and are looking to improve on a first round loss they suffered at the hands of the eventual champs, the Vikings. The addition of Haufle should help them achieve that goal. He is a quality fielder and can also pitch when called upon.

The Braves retain the majority of players from last year, but have a few players rehabbing injuries during the off-season. Scott Guess (shoulder) and Kris Couch (knee) are both working toward being ready opening day. The Braves should be at full strength for Game 1.

The acquisition of Haufle may not be the last of the Braves' offseason moves...
